Summer Fete
20th July 2008

Summer Fete On Sunday 20th July, from 2:30 - 5:30 pm at Cambridge City Football Ground on Milton Road, Bridges to Belarus will be holding a Summer Fete. Attractions include a puppet show (4pm), bouncy castle and bouncy slide from Just Puppets and a performance from St Ives' C.I.F.A Majorettes....

London Marathon
April 2008

Marathon On the 13th of April, Aidan Brown ran the Flora London Marathon for Bridges to Belarus. He raised over £300 for the charity, and enjoyed the race immensely. If you'd like to raise money for Bridges to Belarus through a sponsored run or other event, please do get in touch.

Update on Dima
March 2008

Slave Auction On December 18 2007, I took drastic measures to raise the funds for Dima's life-saving operation. I decided to sell off the staff at Ipswich Hospital in a slave auction!

The brain-wave of Nicola Galloway and ably assisted by Helen Reade, we organised a group of slaves and then let the selling begin...

Art for the Children Over the two weeks that we were at Michaelhouse, we took over £2000 which is a tremendous boost to Bridges to Belarus. We also made many useful contacts and spoke with lots of interesting people. We would like to thank Michaelhouse, especially Sue Binns, for all their help and hard work in making the exhibition a success. Local artists, including members of the Cambridge Drawing Society...

Raffle in Dorset. On her return from Rogachov, Chris Cockeram organised a fundraising event in her hometown, Sherborne, in Dorset. It was held on 29th September 2007, 10am – 1pm in the Age Concern Hall on Digby Road.
